Handling/ Carrying your Baby

Age: 0 months - 5 months

Carrying a newborn baby is always not easy, especially for first-time parents. More so if you find out that your child has a low muscle tone. It is important to carry your baby the right way to facilitate proper posture and avoid unwanted compensatory postures and movement patterns critical for their development.

Positioning

Age: 0 months - 10 months

Positioning your baby is something that as a new parent needs to learn first. If you are not yet used to carrying, at least you can position your baby in such a way that it stimulates his/her senses and development. It is important to keep the surroundings interesting so that your baby will have something to look at.
